Virginia

On Wednesday of last week we decided we were all going to take a trip to Virginia, that Friday, to see Bobby's grandfather, who isn't doing so hot. We packed up almost everything we own (yes, I'm one of those bring-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink travelers). The trip usually takes Bobby alone 10 hours to make, so we decided we'd drive half at night, stop at a hotel to sleep, and drive the rest the next morning. We assumed Marley would do what she normally does when she is in her carseat, SLEEP, but that didn't go as planned lol. Which is the main reason why we did have to stop half way through. I don't blame her though, it was a long, uncomfortable trip and by the end of it we were all exhausted. But we did have fun though!

Marley spent a lot of her time collecting rocks from this drive way and filling up her Vitamin Water bottle. She had lots of fun wth her Grandma Grace.

We went and hung out at a beach one of the days we were there. Me and Rory just hung out under the umbrella

While Marley played in the sand with her Grandma.

and then Marley got sand in her eyes..

Even though I was totally exhausted after the trip we still had fun :) Bobby family is lots of fun. This was my first time meeting almost all of them, except for his mom and grandma who came to Indiana after Marley was born.

And of course, when Bobby found out his uncle had a tattoo gun..

He just had to give himself a tattoo

Rory and I hung out in a big comfy chair the whole time (four hours) and Marley played with her great aunt (who is mine and Bobby's age) and had lots of fun

And then he was finally done!

And after that we hung out for a little while longer and then had to hit the road..

We stopped at this park on the way home, because was about to go crazy in the car. Bobby and Marley played on all the fun toys..

While me and Rory just hung out and took some pictures.

This town really reminded me of Shelbyville. And so did this park.

Lots of fun! But I can't tell you how happy I was to be home! These babies exhausted me, ha. :)
